the weekend awaits.

I hope your enjoyed your week. I don't know where ours went, it seems to have flown above to the open sky never to return. Our days were filled with trips to the library, lunch dates, park play, nerf gun wars, lego building, dancing and much much more. My laundry has piled up, the house is messy as can be and we still haven't finished the kitchen. BUT, I've been enjoying this play time and I love spending so much time with the kids. I wouldn't trade it in for anything. One day I won't have this precious time, and I suppose that is when I will have a clean house.

As I type this I am off to make homemade donuts and muffins for breakfast. We're packing it up and heading to the parade. For those of you who live in the area you know what a big week Hall of Fame is for our community. I have been attending this parade every year since I was a child and now it is time to pass that tradition on to my own children.
