Now that spring is in full go I feel like we're already slipping into summer. The sprinkler has made its way out of the garage, my old gardening gloves have been replaced with new ones and seeds have been sown in freshly turned soil.
Now, we wait.
We enjoy the warmth, the feeling of sunshine, the scents and sounds of spring.
Because before we know it summer will be upon us.
My children have always loved the sprinkler. Anything that involves water and sunshine is a crowd pleaser around these parts. How about you? Does running through the sprinkler bring back memories of childhood? Do your own children, if you have them, enjoy a good play in the water?
I have a feeling our summer will involve lots of water.
Sprinkler dances, pool parties, diving contests and the swim team.
That's right, the boys are planning on joining the swim team.
